Under the bonnet there was a petrol-powered four-stroke 2140 cc engine developing 55 BHP. The power was sent to all four wheels via a 3-speed manual gearbox. GAZ 69M was a basic, lightweight off-road vehicle used by the armies and services of the states of the Eastern Bloc. It was manufactured in two body styles: 2- (GAZ 69, GAZ69M) and 4-door (GAZ-69A, GAZ 69AM) nicknamed „komandorka”.

Vehicle History

GAZ 69M offered by the vintage and classic car auction company Ardor Auctions is fully original. Without doubt this is an interesting proposition for enthusiasts of classic military vehicles. Original paint is extremely rare on this model. It’s a proof of this car’s exceptional condition. The interior is in overall very good shape, with no parts of trim missing, which makes it an even rarer treat. Mechanically, the GAZ is in very good condition. Its current owner had the brake fluid pump refurbished, as well as carburettor adjustment and change of the vital fluids done. Currently, this is one of the last chances to own one of a legendary military vehicle in original condition. This particular GAZ is registered in Poland.
